Shahram is passionate about preserving our personal freedoms. This Christian Pastor and former Muslim will speak regarding the threat of radical Islam in America. Born in Iran, he escaped with his family at the age of 7. “Our nation and our churches are asleep, and “political correctness” is handcuffing our ability to respond to the growing threat of Shari’ah law.” ~ Shahram Hadian He is a proud US citizen who has served his community as a pastor, police officer, teacher and coach and was recently a State Representative candidate in the 44th Legislative District of Washington State.

REPRESENTATIVE KEVIN PARKER, Washington State Representative, 6th Legislative District
Kevin holds the position of Asst. Floor Leader in the State House of Representatives. He is a business owner and employer named one of the top 20 professionals under the age of 40 by Catalyst magazine. As an adjunct professor in Whitworth University’s business school, he teaches entrepreneurship, management and leadership courses. Kevin is a survivor of the 1999 shootings at Columbine High School which gave him opportunities to help here and abroad to prevent future tragedies.

Pastor Bill Fowler became a Christian in 1972 during the “Jesus Movement.” Currently the pastor of Fountain Gate Christian Fellowship, and a Bible teacher at the Student Ministry Institute (SMI) here in Spokane, he was ordained in 1981 and has ministered in the U.S., Belize, Romania, Haiti, and Mexico, with an emphasis on Christian discipleship.

Sworn in with Spokane Police Department in January of 2008, Officer Matthew Rose is from Stockton, California, where he served with the nearby Hayward Police Department on the Streets Narcotics Team for 3 years. His law enforcement career spans over 14 years and includes DARE, SWAT, corrections, and field training. Currently, Officer Rose serves on the Spokane Violent Crime Gang Enforcement Team as an Intelligence Officer.

Cheryl is a personal trainer, nutritionist, and educator with over twenty years in the health and fitness industries. As a nutritionist, her emphases are the obese population and nutrition related medical maladies. Cheryl is a fun and upbeat speaker; she has had tremendous success with the improvement or reversal of hypertension, high cholesterol, type I & II diabetes, GERD, gout, celiac, allergies, skin issues, adult and child obesity, IBS, IBD’s, RA, sleep apnea, ADHD and other conditions.

Jennifer Marshall oversees research in the areas that determine the character of our culture: education, marriage, family, religion, and civil society. Marshall also heads the Heritage think tank’s Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society. In 2010, National Journal named Marshall one of the twelve “power players” in Washington for her work on school choice and other education reforms. She and her Heritage colleagues explore how moral values and civil society relate to issues such as limited government, a strong national economy, and foreign policy.

As vice president of policy at the Freedom Foundation, he
also directs the Save Our States project and teaches First
Principles programs. He previously directed the Foundation’s
constitutional studies programs, Citizenship & Governance
Center, and Citizen Action Network.
Trent was a candidate for the state legislature in 2006 and
earlier served as a legal policy analyst at The Heritage Foundation. He is a
contributor to two books—The Heritage Guide to the Constitution and One Nation
Under Arrest: How Crazy Laws, Rogue Prosecutors, and Activist Judges Threaten
Your Liberty. Trent’s writing has also appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Christian
Science Monitor, Washington Times, and other newspapers.
